Who We Are

Renaissance Journey was born from a shared realization: life is too meaningful to be lived on autopilot.

After years in the corporate world, we found ourselves caught in work, responsibilities, and routine, longing for more joy, freedom, connection, and presence.

We decided to change that, and along the way, realized we wanted our day-to-day to mean more. We wanted to create something human, meaningful, and generous, while sharing the experiences that have brought us closer to ourselves and to the world around us.

Today, Renaissance Journey brings together what we love most: adventure, wellness, culture, nature, and human connection.

We create immersive journeys for people who are ready to step away from the ordinary, make space for themselves, and rediscover what makes life feel meaningful.

Our Mission

To create meaningful experiences that help people reconnect with themselves, discover what makes them happy, and feel more alive.

Our Vision

A world where people make space for what truly matters and experience life with more meaning, connection, and joy.

Meet the Faces Behind the Journey

Meet Julie

Co-Founder • Wellness • Movement & Energy

Originally from Quebec, Canada, I am a passionate and experienced Zumba® Instructor dedicated to helping people reconnect with their bodies through movement, music, and self-expression. I encourage people to let go, even for a moment, to feel where the music brings them to.

My approach is rooted in the belief that movement should be joyful, inclusive, and free from judgment or expectations.

While loving to travel the world, I am currently forming in Animal communication therapy which all started with intuitive writing and meditation. From Zumba® to animal communication, it’s all about connection—listening, being present, and communicating beyond words.

‘‘Where there’s rhythm, there’s life.’’

Meet Carolina

Co-Founder · Wellness, Yoga & Mindfulness

Originally from Costa Rica and now based in Quebec City, I’m a 200-hour YTT-certified Vinyasa & Hatha Yoga Instructor with over 10 years of yoga practice and 20+ years of travel experience.

I’m currently pursuing further training in Yoga Therapy, while incorporating breathwork, Yoga Nidra, and mindful movement into my practice.

I’ve always been drawn to travel, culture, nature, and different ways of experiencing life. For me, travel and yoga create space to pause, reconnect, and see the world—and ourselves—with fresh eyes.

“The journey is not just about the places we go, but about who we become along the way.”
